This policy is prepared in compliance with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (hereinafter, “LSSI-CE”), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, “GDPR”), as well as in accordance with the Cookie Guidelines issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

3. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small information file that is downloaded to the user’s device upon accessing certain websites or applications. Cookies allow the holder of the service to recognise the user’s device, store preferences, improve performance and, where applicable, collect statistical information about the use of the service.
In the context of mobile applications, alongside cookies stricto sensu, similar technical identifiers may be used (device locals, installation identifiers, tokens, etc.) that fulfil equivalent functions and to which this Policy also applies.
4. Types of cookies used on the Platform
For the purposes of transparency, cookies and similar technologies are classified according to their owner, their purpose and their duration:

4.2. By purpose
- Technical cookies (strictly necessary): allow the user to navigate through the Platform and use the different options or services available, such as controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the authenticated user’s session, accessing restricted areas, remembering elements that make up a process or request, or sharing content via social networks. Their use does not require the user’s consent under article 22.2 LSSI-CE.
- Preferences or personalisation cookies: allow the user to access the service with certain general characteristics predefined according to criteria set on their device, such as language or browser type.
- Analytics or measurement cookies: allow the Controller to monitor and analyse user behaviour on the Platform, in order to draw up navigation profiles of the users to introduce improvements in the service. As of the effective date of this Policy, the Controller does not use analytics or measurement cookies.
- Behavioural advertising cookies: store information about user behaviour to display personalised advertising. The Controller does not use behavioural advertising cookies.
4.3. By duration
- Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses the Platform. They are deleted at the end of the session.
